Red River BootCamp
When we first started our BootCamp we tried a traditional “Bootcamp” programming – an hour of heart pumping, non-stop movement. Sounds great right? Well, we weren’t seeing the same results we saw in our CrossFit classes. So we applied a lot of the principles of CrossFit - proper technique, strength development and short, intense workouts – to our BootCamp classes. The changes have been great; our Bootcampers have been losing weight and gaining strength, speed and endurance.
The main difference between BootCamp and CrossFit is the structure of the class. CrossFit is an open-class program and Bootcamp is a closed-class program. That means when you sign up for BootCamp, you must show up for your given classes and anybody that isn’t signed up will not be allowed to join. This makes it a little more focused and individualized. You will have one Coach that will know when you don’t show up, who will help you set and reach goals and who will help you stay on top of your nutrition. By working out with the same people at every class you will build a bond that will make the WODs more enjoyable. This bond will also encourage you to show up and work harder than you would on your own.
Each class is 60 minutes and each BootCamp session is 3 months.
Our current BootCamp classes are:
- BootCamp 1: M/W/F @ 9am $120
- BootCamp 2: Tu/Th @ 6am $100
- BootCamp 3: Tu/Th @7am $100
